It Lingers | 2016

It Lingers follows the daily interactions between a little girl named Olga, nicknamed Ollie, and her unwelcome spider companion. When the spider moves into her bedroom, she tears its web down day after day in an attempt to get it to leave, but each time she does so the spider rebuilds the web. As she takes her anger over unrelated matters out on the hapless spider and its web, the emotional tension within Ollie mounts and ultimately overflows. It Lingers explores the way that simple occurrences, even ones that are originally a source of trepidation or fear, can become a source of inspiration and personal strength, and how the effects of these occurrences can last long after the original source is gone.
